Free Stock Data in Excel: US Company Financials Starter Pack

A free Excel file with the financials of the 50 largest companies we cover, by revenue, their latest five fiscal years, and the yearly returns of the market. Open it in Excel or Google Sheets and start your own research.

What is in the file

  • README: where the figures come from, the date the file was built, and what it is not.
  • Top 50 by revenue: ticker, company, sector, fiscal year end, revenue, net income, diluted EPS, free cash flow, gross margin and operating margin for each of the latest five fiscal years. A blank cell means the figure is not available or our checks against the annual report data do not confirm it.
  • Returns by year: the yearly change of the SPY ETF, an ETF proxy for the S&P 500. It is not the official index level.
